An O.S. Engines .91 heli engine designed for 3D thrills!
Posted by Best R/C on Aug 27, 2008
With its PD-08 fuel pump and regulator, the O.S. Engines 91HZ-PS is the perfect power plant for 3D, delivering the consistent high-end power needed for executing extreme maneuvers! A non-pumped version designed for precision F3C competition is also available.
- The 91HZ-PS’s pump works with a matched 61B-P carburetor and integral regulator to deliver steady fuel supply to the engine at any attitude, even during the most severe 3D maneuvers.
- The piston and crankshaft are newly designed to further reduce vibration and improve torque stability over the entire rpm range.
- The rectangular heatsink is entirely enclosed inside the cooling shroud to lower operating temperatures.
- A thermo insulator on the carburetor blocks engine heat to ensure more stable fuel/air mix.

can this engine be swapped out w/ most RC helicopters?
If the heli has an SZ in it, it’s a drop in. Most .90 size helis come with mounts for OS. I doubt it would ever be a problem.
