The Futaba BPS-1 RPM Sensor provides accurate rpm readings with plug-in ease. Just 0.24 ounces (8 grams) in weight, it attaches directly to the engine backplate, eliminating the need for fan-mounted magnets and governor mounts. It’s designed for use with the Futaba GY701 and the CGY750 gyros and O.S.(R) heli engines that feature a backplate with a built-in sensor mount, such as the O.S. 55HZ-R and 91HZ-R. Backplates with built-in sensor mounts are also available separately, for retrofitting other O.S. .55- and .91-size heli engines for BPS-1 use. Sensor includes a 25-3/4 inch (655 millimeter) cable.
